I met Joe Costa while we were both in career transition, at a human services certification course. He referred me to my present job (1of2 I work), about 5.5 years ago. While other peers and associates rolled their eyes and snickered at my lofty goals, he believed in me achieving them. Joe told me to write about the childhood sexual abuse I survived, the addictions I overcame, the mental health struggles I learned to manage. He said doing peer mentor work would hopefully help others. I published that first book and am working on the second in the series. RIP brother from another mother.. 04/021/972 – 09/10/2016
